BUT… I’ll shave it for later.

Okay, I know, I know, I totally used this joke on facebook when I shared the first image above a month or so ago, but it still makes me giggle. I’ll work on some new material for the next time, but in the meantime, I hope you’re still giggling with me.

Giggling helps me forget how much catching up I need to do on the blog. So many adorable families, kiddos and babies to share! I thought I’d go back a few months to share this wonderful family. Their middle kiddo and my boys went to preschool together, which now seems like forever ago! I photographed their family for the first time almost three years ago in Tampa before our move to Seattle. They are just as adorable and as fun today as they were then! And, let me tell you, they all know how to shake their tail feathers! Did I mention how fun they are? They’re truly a family after my own heart!

It’s a blessing to be able to go back to Tampa several times through the year to work with such incredible families! I’m excited just thinking about a return visit this fall.

Until next time.

Oh, lazy summer, how I adore thee! We sure are enjoying everything summer has to offer… bike rides (at least two times a day), water balloon fights, trips to the library, lots of watermelon, rope swings, lazy mornings, ice cream for lunch, playdates with friends, popsicles, yamping (backyard camping), trips to the community pool, hikes and camping with our friends, which is where I took these images on these beach beauties. I just loved the evening light and the girls’ beachy hair and their sun kissed cheeks and noses. It was a dreamy kind of night!

Lucky us, we were able to tag-a-long for such a fun weekend at Kayak Point. Going camping with professionals sure does make the camping experience so much more enjoyable! The weather was incredible, not a drop of rain. We spent our days on the beach, playing in the water and our nights sitting around a warm fire eating the most delicious meals, which were better than we normally eat at home! My boys were thrilled to spend the weekend with some of their favorite friends in the world and I have to say, it was so nice to have some girls around! I’m always feeling outnumbered in my “all-boy house!” I need more of that in my life!

I’m thrilled that this trip will be new family tradition for us.

Until next time.
